My practice centers on worldbuilding and storytelling, with a strong focus on archives—how they can be transformed, reimagined, and reshaped. I often incorporate elements from previous works into new pieces, allowing each project to exist within a larger, evolving universe of my own making. My work also speaks to my identity and how identities are shaped, perceived, and positioned within society. Politics are inherently woven into this framework—sometimes subtly through personal narrative, and other times more directly by questioning social structures and cultural norms. Through this lens, my work becomes both a personal exploration and a political act.
I also strive to create whimsical, worlds that explore themes of memory loss and the rediscovery of childlike wonder. Tactility is important to me—I find joy in making pieces that people can physically hold, feel, and connect with.
At the core of my work is an exploration of human vulnerability and the power of narrative. I'm especially drawn to the convergence of mediums—whether through sculpture, creative coding, or graphic design. Curiosity drives my practice.
When I am not in the studio, I am probably reading a sappy poetry book in a cafe. I love consuming different types of media--films, tv shows or books. You'll find me rating new films in my letterboxd or books in my goodreads profile.
